Who We Are
Harrod Outdoors LLC is a small outdoor media business owned by Richy and Vicki Harrod, established in 2009. We proudly produced an award-winning television series called The Northwest Outdoorsmen from 2009-2024. We continue to tell stories on the We are Outdoorsmen Podcast and through Richy's magazine articles. We also produce short films, commercials, or other promotional videos for clients.
Our Products
Harrod Outdoors can produce promotional videos for websites, informational videos, and television commercials. We capture video in high definition and have the ability to produce video products in a variety of formats. We have access to thousands of tracks of production quality music which can create the right mood or feeling for each video production.
We also have our own line of seasonings for fish and wild game, BBQ sauce, coffee for home and camp, our uniquely designed fishing rods, and knife sharpeners for every need.

Real Experiences
Our past television series, The Northwest Outdoorsmen, was about the average sportsman or woman hunting or fishing on their own in the great Pacific Northwest. The show strived to tell stories through the eyes of the hunter or fisherman, and in their own words. Past episodes can be found on the Harrod Outdoors YouTube Channel or several digital platforms such as Outdoor Action TV.

Our relationship with the outdoors is summed up in our award-winning short film and podcast, We are Outdoorsmen. "For our family and close friends, being an outdoorsman is a way of life learned through everyday experience. Generations of our family made a living from the land, spent all their time outdoors, and learned to survive with very little. We didn’t decide to be outdoorsmen and women, it chose us. Our connection with land and water is spiritual. We love wild places and providing for ourselves."
